Working Docs and Folders not working as expected

when I add a new sub folder to a working folder, it shows up as a sub folder. When I add working docs, it shows up in the right folder as a working doc. However, when I go elsewhere and come back, or if I want to edit the doc after getting out and coming back, everything LEAVES the working folder and goes into the MAIN AREA, where I have to reassign the document to the correct folder again! And I can no longer put the sub folder under another folder. Example: I have a company Wing Nutz of Orem in my working docs. I went in and created sub folders: Pre list, list, under contract, NDAs. All looked good. But now, when I look at the working docs area, all of the folders are listed as separate folders and are no longer nested under Wing Nutz of Orem!
This is ok if doing 1 or 2 deals at a time, but if a TC is working on 40 deals and there are sub folders and working docs NOT going into, and STAYING in, the correct folders, this is going to be a MAJOR ISSUE. Can someone help? I can do a video of the issue if needed
